Refused Irish Base BY FREE STATE GOVERNMENT. (Received October 15, at' 10.20 p.m.) LONDON. October 14. The Ir sh Free State Government, after having a consultation with the .British Government, Iras refused the German Luft Hansa Airline permission to use Galway Day as the intermediate station for their experimental North Atlantic Air Service. An agreement lias already been concluded between the Irish Government, and the Bri'ish Imperial Airways for a j.epular Trans-Atlantic Air Service. “Obv'ously we cannot allow any rival concern to use our natural facilities and advantages.” said a Free State official.
