The surcharge will decrease to the ordinary company rale- <is the volume of ma.l in crises. Austral'a will have full centre,! ot the Sydney-Singapore section of lhe Empire route. It is believed that New Zealand participation in the Empire service, is npw certain, and that the details of Australia’s share in the trans-Tasman link are now being worked out by the authorities here and in the Dominion.
