The sudden death oe'-urred at her residence, Karoro, early yesterday morning of Mrs Eveline Al'.-e Shrives w if e „f Mr Joseph. Buslield Deceased, who had not enjoyed the best of "health for some time, was a native of Greymouth, 47 years of age, but her death was quite unexpected. She was a daughter of the late Harry Weenink who predeceased her three months ago. In addition to her husband, she leaves four daughters and three sons, also four brothers, Messrs George (Karoro), Bert (South bestland). Peter (Dunedin), and Neil Weenink (Siam), and three sisters. Mesdames S. Cameron (Kumara) and O’Hara (Cobden), and Miss I. Weenink (Karoro). The funeral, which takes place af Karoro Cemetery, to-day, leaves her late residence at 2 p.m.
