SON OF A FARMER. (Per Prose Association). 1 HAMILTON, October 13. Tile winner of the art union, Richard Roland Jones, is aged IS, son of a Pukeroro farmer. Jones, when visited this morning, was very unconcerned at his good fortune, and -was engaged in daily routine work on the farm, when interviewed, to-day. There are three sons and two daughters in the family, all of whom’ l are living on the farm. Jones senr., has been a share milker on the farm which is seven miles from Hamilton, for the past nine years, and on August 1 took the farm over. The lucky winner stated that he would bank the money, and he and Iris lather would later decide what» they would do with it. 'Probably, they would utilise if to pay off the farm.
