WAIAU RIVER TRAGEDY
MAORI MOTORIST’S BOC|Y FOUND. (Per Press Association). WATROA. October 13. The body of Paul Rtiuielie, sometimes known as Paul Winitr.na, owner of the motor-ear which w s dragged from the Wa'au River at Mt t ai, about fifteen miles from Wairoa, m Monday morning, was discovered floating face downwards, and caught in d snag near tlie pool where the car was [found'. The body was found yesterday morning and was brought to Wairoa. It is still unknown whether Raurehe bad anv passengers in the car with h’ni. The police have not yet concluded their inquiries. The body was found by a Maori named; Mac Epara i no. The inquest was adjburned sine die.
