TYPHOON DISASTER
In the Philippines 310 DEAD IN ONE PROVINCE. (Aus. & N.Z. Cable Assn.) (Received October 13, at 7.30 p.m.) MANILA, October 12. As a result of the typhoon at the week-end in the Philippines, the known dead number three hundred and ten in the Nuevu Ecija province. As the result also ol the typhoon, hundreds of others have not' been accounted for. The communications are cut in ten of the northern provinces. The rice crops have been destroyed in Luzon. DEATH ROLL RISES. (Received October 13. at 11 p.m.) MANILA'. October 13. Later reports state the dead number fmir hundred.
