GEBYMOHTH ASSN. At the monthly meeting of the Greymouth Boxing and Wrestling Association last evening, there were present Afessrsi A. Beban (president).. 11. Alelville, F. 11. Denton, A. Alarsha.ll. J. B. Paton, A. White, AV. Ko'ls, W. Giieseking. F. Cost ell,o, A. Rubbo, H. Al’oore, and the secretary, Air F. AV. Baillie. Ginger Waldo, Nelson,, wrote asking if the association could arrange a contest for him, preferably with C. Rayner, of Blenheim. The Amateur Athletic Club, AVallsend. were granted October 31 tor its nc(xt tournament. Advice was received from the Otira Club that it dest'-red to ho'd a combined boxing and wrestling tournament this month, and th'e secretary was instructed to makel the neecpsary arrangements for its conduct. The action of the emergency committee in arranging for the Joe HallClarrie Rayner e;ont(\st of 15 rounds for a purse of £BO on October 24 at Greymouth, was approved. The secretary reported that, four prel'minaries had been arranged to precede the main contest.
