BOXING
(Per Press Association). PALMERSTON N., October 11. With over half a stone weight advantage. Roy de Gans beat Harold Reeve on points in a hard-fought contest before a packed house at Pahiatua on Saturday night. Reeve fought probably the best fight of his career, but de Gans was always just too good, although he was unable to deliver a knock-out.
