CLAY BIRD SHOOTING

OTAGO CHAMPIONSHIP. (Per Press Association). DUNEDIN, October 11. The Otago day bird ehampionship was decided yesterday afternoon, the conditions being good overhead, but a strong gusty wind prevailed. There were 2.'! competitors, the winner being T. A. Clouston, of Lauder, who previously held the cup in 1933. Clouston secured the possible of 21 birds, 20 of which were broken with the first barrel. Wilson Elliott and J. Stiven, both of Balelutha, tied for second place, with 17 birds each.
