Joe Louis, who will meet Al Ettore in a fifteen-round bout at Philadelphia to-morrow, is expected to outweigh the Philadelphia heavyweight by at least ten pounds. ROSS—CARROLL BOUT. (Received Sept. 22 at 10.30 p.m.) SYDNEY. September 22. The promoter, Air. Lucas, to-day cabled Barney Ross’s manager, asking for an extension of time until 3 p.m. to-morrow to enable him to secure the remainder of the fight guarantee of over £13,000. Air. Lucas is confident ho will get it.
