He is trapped bv a Yankee (officer. Jack Holt. Holt surrenders to Shirley’s charms, and tries to help them through. When the plot d'ails, both Holt and 80/’es arc in hot water. How the little girl uses her charms on the President of the Union to save her daddy and her dearest friend, is revea’ed in the tender dramatic climax of ‘‘The Littlest Reb el.” The songs Shirley sings include ‘‘Polly Wol’y Doodle,” especially composed by P>. G. DeSylva and Sid.ney Clare. ami “If All Those ’Endearing Voting Charms.” Bill Robinson, coloured’ genius of tap dancing, is Shirlev’s inseparable companion in this picture, in charming exhibitions of footwork. A magnificen,’ exhibition of spring flowers, well worth inspection by all flower lovers, will be displayed at the Town Hall on Friday next, when the Holy Trinify Spring Show and Bazaar ■will be held. Amongst the many attractions are numerous stalls, including Cakes, Sweets, Produce, Delicatessen, Used Clothing, Literature. Children’s Clothing, Novelty, Bran Tub Jumble, Handkerch’ef. A Decorative Section and numerous competitions. In the evening, the proceedings will be enlivened with appropriate items by the Campfire Band.
