MATARI DREDGE. AUCKLAND, August 6. The Mataki dredge return for the four weeks ended August 2, amounted to 186 ounces 7 dwt’s. 23 grains for 38,447 yards. WORKSOP DREDGE. The Worksop dredge return this week was 33 ounces, secured from 10,000 yards of material in 132 hours BLACKWATER MINES. . 9 'fhe mine last month crushed 4100 tons yielding 1686 line ounces of gold from all sources’, the value ot which (taking gold at 1385'.6d per line ounce) was £11,674. Working expenses were £6429, leaving a working profit of £5245. Development expenditure £740 and capital expenditure £552.
