R.A.F. CREW KILLED.
CRASH IN EGYPT. (Aust. & N.Z. Cable Assn.) KHARTOUM, June, .15, The crew of four were killed when an Air Force plane crashed, and caught fire at Adarama. FLYING FLEAS. PARIS, June 15. The Air Ministry has provisionally banned “flying fleas” pending’ systematic trials, with a view to modification to prevent accidents. UNION AIRWAYS DELAY. FOG IN CANTERBURY. CHRISTCHURCH, June 15. The Union Airways air-liner, Korimako, was a little more than an hour late in arriving at Wigram aerodrome this morning, because of fog, and 20 minutes was taken in circling about Christchurch, waiting for the'mist to clear, so that the pilot, A. G. Gerrand, could see the landing ground. The north-bound machine had had no trouble in landing at Christchurch, but after it left for Blenheim, the fog rapidly grew worse and the Korimako coming south had bad weather all the way down from Clarence River. It finally made a perfect landing, taking advantage of a break in the fog. The machine later left, for Dunedin.”' The north-bound machine which had no trouble at Christchurch, was deLaied tor a little time at Blenheim because of fog.
