INFANT DROWNED

LATE AROHA CLIFFORD’S SON. CHRISTCHURCH, February 11. The two-year-old son of Mr Alt' Brustad, of Waiau, was drowned in a sheep dip at his father’s home today. The child was with his father in the wool shed, and was unobserved for a few minutes. He was found ten minutes later in the sheep dip. Rescuscitation measures failed to restore animation, A doctor was called immediately, but the child was dead. The child’s mother was well-known by her maiden name or Miss Aroha Clifford. She died when the baby was born.
