BRITISH REVENUE BETTER. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, October 15. Exchequer returns show that the total revenue, excluding self-balancing items, amounts to £313,389.194, compared with £295,448,8*00 at’ the corres ponding date in 1934. Receipts from income tax were £60,483,000, against £57,105,000 in the same period of the -last financial year. Customs receipts to date are £105.565,000, compared with £101.119,0010, and with the estimate for the whole year o f £188,570,000. The total ordinary expenditure, exclusive of self-balancing items, is £381.251,025, against £362,832,413 on the corresponding day of 1934.
