DAIRY FARMER KILLED (Per Press Association). INVERCARGILL. October 17. Wiliam Diack, aged 54, a farmer of Glenhani died in Southland Hospital this e vening as the result of internal injuries received this morning when a dray fell on him. He was driving the dtiay through a gate when wheel caught in the post The dray capsized oveo a steep embankment. pinning Diack underneath Ho was chairman of the Glen ham Dairy Factory Company. i TEAMSTER’S SUICIDE. CHRISTCHURCH. October 17. The death of Allan Robert Harris, single aged 22 who (was found shot on August 29 in a hut a,t Greendale where he wa s employed as ti teamster was investigated by Mr. E. C. Levvey Coroner to-day. The Coronofound that- Harris died from a bullot wound sclf-inflietsd white ho was m a state of mental disturbance after an attack of influenza. Evidence W&-’ riven that Harris had had a nervous breakdown in 1929 nnd in 1939 had his head injured in an accident. Later in the same year ho suffered mental trouble and was for » year Tn » mental hospital.
