INTER-CLUB DEBATE

KENT HONOURS BOARD. Last evening at Trinity Hall, there was a debate for the Kent Honours Board between teams representing tha Trinity Club (holders) and the United Club. The subject was: “That Women in Industry Should be Paid Equally with Men for Equal Work.’’ The Trinity Club took the affirmative, and the debate, which a fair number of listeners followed with interest, was judged by Mr M. L. Daly, whose award was as follows: Trinity Club —Messrs J, Campbell (leader) 73 (reply 17), F. Roberta 50. E. Maxell 55, A. L. McKay 52, total 247. United Club—Messrs D. C. Milne (leader) 72 (reply 14), R. Dawber 54, T. Learmont 53. J. Booth 52. total 245. Trinity Club thus retained the Kent Honours Board.
