Sailed, on the 9th,. at 6 p.m., Abel Tasman, for Greymouth. LONDON, August 9. Arrived: At London, Piako; at San Francisco, Golden Cloud; at Honolulu. Niagara. Sailed, New Zealand Star, from Balboa. NOTES. The Harbour Board last evening reported 'that the depth ou lhe bar at high water yesterday was 18ft 4in. The Totana arrived yesterday morn ing from Port Chalmers, and after discharge will load coal for New Plymouth. The Titoki sailed on Saturday morning for Gisborne. The Raima sailed on Saturday even ing for Wellington, Napier and New Plymouth.
The Kainiiroj. 'which wins to load here for Auckland, has had her call cancelled.
The Abel Tasman is due 'to da\ from Dunedin to load timber tor Newcastle. Sydney and Melbourne. The Kiwitea leaves Gisborne to-daj for Greymouth to load for Wellington. She is due on Wednesday. The Kaimai is dup on Friday to load for Wellington .and Miramar. The Port. Waikato is due about August 23 to load a full cargo of timber for Svdney and Newcastle. A TJ.S.S. Co. steamer is due about August 19. to load timber for Melbourne and Adelaide. The Kaitoa. which arrived on Fridlay evening from "Wellington, via Westport, is scheduled to sail to-day with timber for Pet one.
The, Kartigi is still held up owing to the state of the bar. and will sail early for Miramar, Wellington, Auck land and Portland.
The Karepo. laden with tlmbei foi Melbourne and Adelaide, has been delaved by the shoaling of the bar, and will sail when conditions permit. The James Cook arrived in port on Friday afternoon after several days delav. Iler departure for Brisbane i* indefinite owing to the state of the bar.
