JAP MISSION
N.Z. Tour STATE RECEPTION. (Per Press Association) WELLINGTON, August 1. The Acting-Prime Minister, announced to-day that arrangements were in course of preparation for the reception in New Zealand of the Japanese i “Goodwill” Mission, which is beaded by Katsuji Debuchi, Ambassador Ex« traordinary and Plenipotentiary. The mission will arrive at Weljipg- , ton by the Marama on August 19, when a State luncheon will bo held. The mission will spend August 21 in Auek- . and. It will visit Rotorua and Wai- ; tomo Caves the next day. It visits Christchurch on August 24. A night ’ will be spent at Timaru, and the party will then visit Mt. Cook Hermitage. | They are due at Dunedin on the evening of the 26th. On the 28th they will : leave for Wellington to connect with the Wanganella, sailing on the 29th.
