Realising the epidemic of spy inquiries ia creating a harmful impression on foreign visitors, the Government is conferring with the Customs, gendarmerie and police to devise a simplification of the annoying proce dures, and especially the endless repetition of tedious questioning and microscopic examination for books on Communism, and persecution for innocent photography of fortified zones.'
