Commenting on the recent cabled report from Now York concerning the efficaciousness of the serum used for innoculation against infantile paralysis, an authoritative medical source in Wellington stated that in New Zealand serum has given encouraging results in previous epidemics. Large laboratories are organised in such a way that serum can be made available at. the earliest possible moment when any outbreak occurs. Medical literature dealing with the subject is continually coming to hand, and all those concerned are alive to all recent advances.
