Opera House DOUBLE FEATURE PROGRAMME. The amazing adventures of a little motion picture extra girl, who carried cm her make-believe in real life, is deftly .t'old in ‘ ‘ The Countess of Monte Cristo.” coming to the Opera House tonight with “Tillie & Gus.” Making a dramatic exit from her studio and rid lug out of the picture in which she was playing a countess, this ginl dared to carry her role with her and tried to get away with it. How she becomes involved, in all sorts of embarrasing situations and finally is implicated in t..e arrest' of an infamous criminal, is ali delightfully disclosed. Fay Wray rind Paul Lukas are happily teamed in ■the romantic sequences, while a splen did supporting east includes Patsy Kelly, Reginald Owen, Carmel Myers, Patti Pago, John Sheehan, Robert McV’adc and many others of importance. Having stolen pictures from praetically every star in Hollywood, W. C. Fields and Alison Skipwora’h are now trying to steal a picture from each other. These two hivable rascals are together at last in “Tilly and Gus.”

This cheery film presents genial Gene Gerrard as an impecunious artist in love with a wealthy soap, manufacturer’s daughter. For patrons who enjoy a good, song and plenty of sparkling comedy, here is entertainment of the first water. “The Man I Want” is a snappy comedy drama, being th e story of a wealthy manufacturer who unknowing ly used his daughter’s beauty to advertise his soap. Several song hits are featured.
