Tin* following resolution was carried I ar the annual meeting of the Wairarapa Patriotic Association to-day: — , “That this meeting recommends th« ! members of the Claims Board to attend the annual meeting of Flock House ; Trustees t” urge that while preferenci , tc. returned .-•oldiers’ sons to bp kept , in the forefront, F ock House make arrangements, if possible, to extend the privileges of the training of the sons of unemployed civilians, at the expense of the funds of lie Unemployment *, Board, and thence to ordinary civiliI ans; the delegates to point out that many ex-s’ei vicemen have sons at present not old enough to take advantage of the Flock House facilities, and that it is desirable to keep the institi tion open for a few years in anticipa tion of these boys being given the ad vantages of a course of training.’’ It was als’O decided that the whole matter of Flock House training be referred to the Farmers’ Union and Womens’ Division*, seeking their cooperation.
