N.Z. ALPINE CLUB. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON. May 27. The annual general mooting of the New Zealand Alpine Club was held on Saturday, the attendance being about 40. Mr G. E. Mannering, one of the two surviving foundation members of the club, was elected a life member. The following officers were elected for ‘lie ensuing year:—President. H. F. Wright; vice-presidents, J. W. Aitken, R. Syme. J. Scott-Thomson. S. A. Wiren; committee. 11. W. Cormack, R. El-li-S A. P. Harper. J. D. Knowles, A. J. Scott and P. Ween ink: hon. treasurer. J. W. Petherick; hon. secretary, J. S. Shanks; hon. auditor. C. McAllister.
