BY TASMANIAN PREMIER. (Aus. and N.Z. Cable Assn.) (Received Mav 24, 7.35 p.m.) LONDON. May 24. The Soviet Ambassador here, M. Maisky, entertained the Tasmanian Labour Premier, Mr A. G. Ogilvie, at tea, prior to the latter’s forthcoming visit to Russia, where he will be the first Australian Premier to visit rhe Soviet. M. Maisky asked him, when he goes there to make his comparisons, not between Russian and westernised ouiitries, but between Russia now and before the revolution.
