By 13 votes to 9, the Dominion Executive of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union to-day opposed the removal of the embargo on the importation of livestock from Great Britain. There was a suggestion that the decision be left to the annual conference of the Union in July. This was rejected by 11 votes to 10.
