Perry won the final of the men’* singles at Bournemouth hard court tennis tournament, defeating Austin 0/6, 6/4. 3/6. 6/2, 6/0. The men’s doubles were won by Malfroy and Stedman, who defeated Farquharson and Kirby 6/3, \6/2, 6/1. Perry showed impressive form, but his physical attributes chiefly enabled him to gain the victory. Finding Austin too accurate.
