Country Party ATTITUDE UNDISCLOSED. (Received October 8 nt 10.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, October 8. The Federal Members of Parliament, belonging to the Country Party to-day discussed the terms of the Prime Minister, Mr J. A. Lyons’s invitation to the Country Party to form a Coalition Cabinet. The outcome of the discussion will not be disclosed until the Party’s decision is communicated to the Prime Minister in Melbourne. It is, however, officially stated that Mr Lyons has offered the Country Party three full portfolios, one of which would be the Vjce-Presidency of the Executive Council; but Mr Lyons, at the same time, reserved the right to veto any individual who might not be acceptable to him, and also the right to dispense with the services of any Minister who might not prove satisfactory.
