DOG ATTACKS BOY
BITTEN FIVE TIMES. (Per* Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, October 8. Ivan Pope, a boy six years of age. was bitten four times on the. arm ami once on the leg by a dog while he was playing with some other children in Burke Street, Sydenham, last even ing. While itftke children were playing, two dogs approaelhed, and one of them attacked Pope, biting him. As he turend to run away, the dog attacked him again, and bit him in the leg. Some neighbours were attracted by the boys’ shouts, and they chafed the dogs away. Pope was on the point of falling as the dogs were driven off. The boy was taken to the hospital, ad. mitted, and treated with anti-toxin.
