LABOUR PARTY
BRITISH CONFERENCE. (Aus. & N.Z. Cable Assn.) LONDON, October 4. The Labour Conference voted by 2,115,000 to 149,000 against uncompensated confiscation, when the State takes over the key industries. Air Herbert Morrison, expressing the Executive’s view, said that at the last election workers were mortally afraid that we would endanger their humble shillings. The workers were sometimes more concerned about their own investments than the capitalists about theirs.
