Wharf Tragedy

SEAMAN FALLS INTO HARBOUTt. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, October 7. Accidentally tripping on the Queen’s Wharf. Wellington, about 6 p.m. on Saturday, Donald McLean, a seaman, on s.s. Storm, about 57 years of age, fell into the harbour. Although resuscitation was, apparently, successfully carried out when he was rescued, he died while being conveyed to the hospital by ambulance.
