tendance. The track was in good order. A new world’s mile ami a quar lor winning race record was set by Harold Logan, ho covering the distance from 84yds behind in 2min 36 3-ssee, winning handsomely from the favourite, Pegaway. Harold Logan was eleventh favourite, and paid a. good price. Harold Logan began brilliantly and was soon within striking distance of the leaders, and he came with a great burst, over the concluding stages, after having the race won a furlong from home.
