ATiss .Tames defeated ATiss Barbara -AVeil (Berkeley) 6/3, 6/0; ATiss Stammers defeated Afrs. Golda Meyer Gross (San Francisco) 6/2, 6/3. In the second round ATiss Nuthall defeated ATiss Agnes Butler (Oakland) 6/0, 6/0.
