AUSTRALIAN GIRL’S CRASH. HOPES TO RESUME. ( Aus. & N.Z. Cable Assn.) ATHENS. October 2. The Australian aviatrix, MisS Thompson, on her flight to Australia, landed in bad weather, on rough ground. The machine was temporarily damaged. She hopes to start again. Tt appears that Mis? Thompson did not allow for the difference of one hour between Brindisi and Athena times, and was thus overtaken by darkness.
