Imitating the false broadcast which caused the panic in Austria on the day that Chancellor Dollfuss was killed some men 'were passing the microphone of a London restaurant whi'e a flanep band was play'ng. and shouted- “Demonstration against Fascism next Sundav! Down with Afoslev and his Black Shirt cut throats!” This was in reference to the Fascist Partv’s demonstration which has been planned for ITvdp Park on Sunday. C. said that iho organisers of dances and other functions being broadcast had been warned recently of the necessity for safeguarfl'ng the microphones.
