(Our Own Correspondent.) The winners of the euchre tournament held in the Taylorville School on Monday evening were: Mesdames Rdstern ,Chetwynd and Mr W. Dando. Mrs P. Moore (Taylorville) has entered the Grey Hospital for treatment. Mrs J. Rodgers (Taylorville), who underwent an operation in Ngarana Hospital three weeks ago, has returned to her home. Mrs G. Smith (Taylorville) left last Saturday on a holiday to Christchurch. Miss U- Richardson (Wallsend) leaves this morning on a holiday visit to Christchurch. Miss A. Pollard (New Brighton) is visiting Mr and Mrs C. Buckman, Taylorville. Blaketown Basketball team journey ed to Taylorville yesterday afterenoon and played a match against Taylorgirls’ basketball club. The home team won by seven goals to five. For Blaketown, Misses E. Anderson (2) F. Harrison (1) and B. Davis (2) scored goals. For Taylorville, F. Moth scored six and F. Meagher one. Misses D. Kroening and I'. Richardson refereed.
