JAPS BUY BEST
QUEENSLAND WOOL SALES. (Aus. & N.Z. Cable Assn.) (Received August 22 at 9.55 pm.) BRISBANE. August 22. The wool sales were continued today with ’the Japanese buyers operating extensively. The Japanese took eighty per cent, of the whole offerings. Bradford and Australian buyers also competed spiritedly. The Fiench bought sparingly. The offerings were 1 1.990 bales, mostly of the averagetype of wools. Greasy made 16Jd. and scoured 26fd, whch is the highest price of the series.
