HAWKE’S BAY BEAT WELLINGTON. WELLINGTON, August 19. •Spending most of their energy in the first spell against the wind Hvhicli produced only a penalty goal. Wellington Rugby representatives were unable to stall off a telling rally by Hawke’s Bay. the Ranfurly Shield holders, in yeste day’s game, the holders winning by 18 to 8.
