Over 170 people, including many women and children, are feared ’o have been drowned in a ferry boat d saster, which occurred near Daribbai Ghat, in Bibar Province. The jy boat!, on which there were several bullocks, began to rock in a strong midstream current. Then the bullocks ran amok. They escaped into the river. The passengers became panic, stricken. They hushed to the side of the boat, which capsized.
