(Our Own Correspondent.) School Conceit: 'The end of the term concert was held at 2.30 this afternoon. Mr €’. L. Martin, the headmaster, trained the children for singling and presided at the piano during the afternoon. Miss M. Coumbe arranged a good item fo 1 - t li e lower classes, while Miss F. XV. Thomson was responsible for the folk dancing. The parents are to bo thanked for their willing assistance 'in making the afternoon both profitable and happy, and for the delicious afternoon tea, which they provided for the performers. Mrs McKey kindly provided sweets for the children. A very happy and successful afternoon was spent, the proceeds amounting to £2 14s. The following was the programme: —Songs: Capstan Bai’. Fa'iry (Hade. Boney Was a Warrior, Le C'ockoo, A Chantc, seniors*; recitation, Helen Thomson; songs, Poi Waka, Ho c Roa, Milly McKey and Choir; folk Dance, gathering P-eascods, girls,; piano solo. Joan Owners; drill-, senior boys: interlude, In Nursery Land, lower school; songs, The Cowherd’s Calling. Lavender’s Blue, Begerette, lower school; folk dance. Black Nag. girls; songs, Ding Dong Dell, Hey Diddle Dumpling. primers; song, London Bridge, St. 1 and 2; folk dance, Rufty Tufty lower school; .song, The Four Dukes, St. 1 and 2; play, With Wolfe at. Quebec, Forms 1 and 11. Scene 1. In Wolfe’s Ten ; t; entr’acte, recitation, Bella Douglas; Scene 2, The Plains of Abraham —a few days later. 'Pho folk dances were arranged by Miss P. Thomson.
