CONFERENCE CALLED. UNEMPLOYMENT QUESTION. (Aus. & N.Z. Cable Assn.) . WELLINGTON, August 10. The Municipal Association of New Zealand has convened a special meeting of the members at Wellington on Wednesday’ next. The chief subject for discussion will be the vexed question of unemployment as it has affected those city’, borough or county workers in the past, and also to discuss ways and means of dealing with the problem in future. This, however, is only one of several matters scheduled for discussion. The proceedings will lie in camera.
