Olympia is busily preparing for this year’s Radio Exhibition, which opens on Thursday, and which is attracting many visitors from abroad as well as from all over Britain There are now between six and seven million wireless license holders in Britain, and the figures have grown to this huge total with amazing rapidity. A flourishing - progressive industry has sprung up in which competition is so keen that it is estimated that 20 per cent, decreases in prices will accompany the 20 per cent, increase in performance, compared with sets offered last year. Low priced television sets will also be a feature of the exhibition while broadcasting artists will give programmes in a temporary theatre.
