Two bridesmaids were in attendance Ihe chief, Miss Ella Robertson, wore cornflower blue elephant crepe, made on full lines, with puLT sleeves, and relieved with sash and ln>w Of lemon ami blue panne velvet. ILe r hat was of crinkle straw and panne velvet and she carried a bouquet of lemon abufilons ami sax-e blue sweet peas. The second bridesmaid. Miss Llorothy T.ang(b ii was dressed in an apricot frock, made on similar linos, and relieved wiih pale green ami ap'rico! panne velvet. She carried a bouquet of apricot dahlias and pink belladonn ;i lilies Little Miss Colleen Moore acted as flower gi>'l. and wore a frock of lemon floral crepe de chino, relieved with lemon georgette, ami rosebud trim mings. Her Dutch hat was of pale lemon straw and she carried a basket of rose petals, which she spread aj the feet of the bride 'Flip duties of best man were carried out by Mr Stan Meredith, ami Mr D. Wraight was groomsman. After the ceremony the reception was held tn Herb Moore's, where the bridegroom’s mother received the guests wearing u black celanose ensemble. She carried a bouquet of red carnations. The wedding cake was th? gift of Mr and Mrs Herb Moore, and ’.he frocks wer ( . designed and made by Mrs A. S. Robertson The newly married couple left later for Christchurch, where they will in future reside.
