SWIMMING
COAST REPS AT CHAMPION SHIPS. Messrs K. Griffen, YV. Payne, am; W. O’Leary (Greymouth Chili), A. Vincent (Cobden), C. M. Robertson, and AV. Keesing (AVestport), accompanied by Mr G. Walters as manager, leave to-day for Christ church to take part in the New Zealand Swimming Championships, which commence on Saturday. O’Leary, Griffon and YTinceut will compete in handicap events, whilst Payne and Keesing will compete in the diving championship. Robertson will swim in the Annette Kellerman Cap Race. Mr Walters will also act as the West Coast Centro’s delegate at the annual conference of delegates of the New Zealand Swimming Centre. At last evening’s meeting of the Greymouth Swimming Club, the President (Air N. W. Jones) wished the Club’s representatives (‘very success. He was sure they would not bo disgraced. and would certainly learn a lot. and uphold the traditions of the sport and the West Coast.
