N.Z. COINAGE

THE COMMITTEE. WELLINGTON, May 16. In order to assist the Government in reaching a decision on the question of New Zealand coinage, the Government has appointed the following committee: —A. D. Park, Secretary to the Treasury (chairman), J. R. Freathey, Secretary to the Associated Banks; .1. Wise, Department of Industries and Commerce; R. M. Sanley, Audit Department; Marshall, P. and T. Department; Sutherland, Numismatic Society. WELLINGTON, May 16. Other members of the Coinage Committee are: Mr W. Sim, manager D.1.C., Wellington; and Mr A. S. Burgess, Wanganui, President of the Associated Chambers of Commerce.
