N.Z. TRADE CAMPAIGN

In North of England (Aus. & N.Z. Cable Assn.) (Received May 14 at 7.10 p'.m.) LONDON, May 13. New Zealand has concluded a successful fortnight’s campaign in theNewcastle area. Two hundred grocery and meat shops entered in a windowdressing competition, the Lord Mayor distributing the prizes. Ho urged the greater purchase of New Zealand pro duce in return for the Dominion’s large expenditure at the Tyneside in the Wellington dock, the shipbuilding, the railway goods, and the hydro-electrical goods. Mr lorns, Chairman of the New Zealand Dairy Board, said that since the ■war there had been twenty millions sterling spent by New Zealand in Britain on ships for the New Zealand trade.
