RIFLE SHOOTING
GREY DEFENCE CLUB. The first competition for Ashby Bergh’s trophy was concluded on Sunday, after being held up for three weeks owing to the unsettled weather. The conditions have been hard owing to the bad light. The following were the scores, the conditions being seven shots at 300. 500 and 600 yards:—
