GREY BRANCH MEETING. The monthly meeting of the Greymouth branch - of the Blanket Society was held yesterday •afternoon. Present:—Mesdames Dennehy, (chair), Wilde Iles, Mowatt, Smith, Barrett, Leahy, Trott. Meldrum, Denton. Garde and Boyd (Secretary). An apology for absence wa> received from Airs Wilkinson Alias Hoddinot, Administrative Secretary, Dunedin, wrote advising that she would visit the branch, arriving on Tuesday, March 14. Arrangements were made for Miss Hoddinot to visit the sub-branches at Hokitika and Runon ga. It was agreed that the annual ball be held in July instead of May as here! ofure. Mrs F. AL. Dennehy was nominated for election to the Central Council, which election takes place at the Provincial Conference in Christchurch on Alarch 22 ami 23. The annual collection is now b°ing mad e. The Nurses’ report for February was received and adopted as follows: Headquarters:—Visits to home; New cases 14; old cases 8; Visits to office, adults 216, babies 162, older children 48. Out-stations: Visits to home: New cases, 10, old cases 66; Visits to office, adults 114, babie s 96, older children 34. Accounts totalling £26 IBs lid were passed for payment.
