START SYDNEY SUBSIDIARY. (Aus. & N.Z. Cable Assn.) SYDNEY, February 16. With the purpose of tendering tor the. aerial service between Australia and Singapore. the Australian Empire Airways Limited has been registered at Sydney with a capital ol £200,000. The Company intends to establish an aerial transport company and act as agent for Imperial Airways. The first directors are Sir Eric Geddes, Messrs G. E. Woods. Humphreys. T. R. Bavin, F. J- Smith, A. E. Rudder. LONDON. February 15. The Imperial Airways stated that Hie object of the Aerial Transport. Com: any, established at Sydney was to facilitate Anglo Australian arrial co-operation, in the establishment of an Anglo-Australian air route.
