german abstention from CONFERENCE. (Aus. & N.Z. Cable Assn). GENEVA. September 23. It is announced that Germany has decided not to offer any written reply ro Mr Arthur Henderson’s appeal for her to attend the Disarmament Conference. Herr Von Neurath (Foreign Minister) as the head of Germany’s large delegation, has arrived at Geneva for the J.eagUp assembly meeting and will personally explain.the reasons for Germany ’s action. The disarmament discussions, therefore are being adjourned till Monday.
